About City Rover
At City Rover our goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate
veterinary care such as vaccinations, routine examinations,
nutritional consulting and geriatric care to pets in the comfort of
their own home. Our in-home care is delivered in a manner
that is convenient for our clients and less stressful for the
entire family.
Dr. Linda Behrns
Dr. Behrns has spent most of her life living with and caring for
animals. She grew up in the Denver area with dogs, cats, mice,
parakeets, fish, turtles, a rabbit and the occasional frog and
snake.
After completing her bachelor’s degree at Colorado State
University, she spent four years in Wales working on a sheep and
dairy farm. Once back in Colorado, she returned to CSU and
earned her master’s degree in Animal Science and then completed her
degree in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Behrns spent the next
four years working primarily with small animals in several
Denver-area practices.
In June 2001, Dr. Behrns started City Rover
Mobile Veterinary Service to offer clients a more convenient,
less stressful alternative for their pets’ veterinary
care.
Her own family includes a Heeler mix and a Chihuahua, who
love to get out and hike in the mountains, as well as four
cats.
